Central Africa | Feasibility study of a socio-professional insertion program for women
Red Mangrove conducted for AFD an extensive study on gender inequalities in socio-professional integration in 4 Central African countries. An extensive literature review and quantitative and qualitative surveys in urban, rural and conflict areas revealed the origin and consequences of social norms unfavorable to women across the entire insertion continuum for each country.
A mapping of the solutions and actors involved in the subject allowed us to make recommendations for operational intervention. Thanks to the analyses and recommendations, an intense co-construction process involving all future operators gave birth to a regional program based on the scaling up of virtuous and innovative initiatives.
