Nigeria | Update of a rural vocational training project
The Enhancing Agriculture and Rural TVET (EART) project aims to modernise and strengthen the agricultural technical and vocational training system in Nigeria, focusing on Benue, Plateau and Oyo States.
It seeks to improve infrastructure, the quality of training and the employability of young people in the formal and informal agricultural sectors, while promoting the active participation of women and addressing issues of environmental sustainability.
Agence Française de Développement contracted Red Mangrove to update the initial feasibility study, due to inflation, deteriorating infrastructure, currency fluctuations, and the need to simplify governance to optimise the management and use of project resources.
The services provided include the production of the project’s procedures manual and the feasibility of multi-use sports facilities to incorporate a sport & development component in collaboration with FIFA.
