Chad | Feasibility study of the agricultural entrepreneurship project

The European Union Delegation in Chad is preparing an Action to support the development and sustainable transformation of key agri-food systems in Chad, with a particular focus on increasing the incomes of young people and women.

 

It intends to delegate part of these funds to the Agence Française de Développement, which has contracted Red Mangrove to define the contours of an intervention focused on access to employment and agricultural self-employment.

 

After producing summaries of the particularities of agricultural value chains and the climatic risks faced by each, we deployed our co-construction methods to put together a project combining vocational training, support for production and the reduction of post-harvest losses, and technical and financial support for farmers’ organizations and entrepreneurs.
